Plains Midstream is involved in the transportation of crude oil and NGL (Natural Gas Liquids).
NGLs are gases that are separated from natural gas during the initial processing. The three main components of NGLs are butane, ethane, and propane.
Plains Midstream owns several pipelines and also operates a fleet of trucks and railcars.
Some of the pipelines that Plains Midstream operates are Rainbow, Manito, Rangeland, South Saskatchewan, Plains Petroleum Transmission Company (PPTC) system, and Co-Ed NGL system.
Plains Midstream Canada is a subsidiary of Plains All American Pipeline.
