Step Energy is an oilfield service company with operations in Canada and United States.
They provide coiled tubing and hydraulic fracturing services in Canada. In the United States, they also provide cased and open hole wireline services.
In Canada, they operate mainly in Deep Basin, Montney, and Duvernay. In the US, they work in Texas, North Dakota, and Colorado.
Step Energy started as a coiled tubing company in 2011 and slowly grew by acquiring a few other companies including Sanjel and Tucker Energy.
Step Energy was initially founded by ARC Financial but went public in 2017.
